These cover the website itself. The terms for a piece of work, what is included, what it costs and when it is paid, live in the written quote you receive, and that quote is what counts.
Please read this before you publish. These pages were drafted to be accurate about how this particular website behaves, in plain language rather than legal language. They are not legal advice and they have not been checked by an attorney. If anything below is not true of how you actually work, change it, and if you would rather be certain, have someone qualified read it.
Prices shown on this site
Where a price is shown on the shop shelf it is for that ready-made site as described, in South African rand. Prices can change, and the price confirmed to you in writing is the one that applies. Everything else on the site, websites, branding, content, social, search and systems, is quoted after a conversation, because the honest number depends on what the work turns out to be.
Enquiring is not ordering
Sending an enquiry, from the form or from a shop room, starts a conversation. Nothing is bought and nothing is owed until you have a written quote and you accept it.
Paying in instalments
For custom work a three-month arrangement can usually be made. It is agreed in writing in the quote, not assumed from this page.
Who owns what
The words, layout, code and photographs on this website belong to Samantic Lab or are used with permission, and are not free to copy. Work made for you becomes yours on final payment, and that is set out properly in your quote.
Domains and hosting
The studio sets these up at launch and registers them in your name where possible. The studio is not a hosting company and does not resell hosting, so your arrangement is directly with the provider and stays with you.
What this website promises
It is kept accurate and working, but it is offered as it is. Prices, availability and descriptions can change without notice, and links to other companies' sites are not an endorsement of them.
Which law applies
South African law, and the South African courts.
